After qualifying and working as a marine engineer during the early 1960’s I joined the oilfield in 1967, an industry that has always fascinated me. I enjoyed continuous employment in this sector until retirement in 2006, almost 40 years service. The interest and fascination still remains.

During that time I worked for various companies, Flopetrol, Schlumberger, Expro, Amoco, PTI and Baker.

Throughout this period I worked in, or was involved in projects in the North Sea, Africa, Asia, Middle East, Australia and Russia.

It is that varied 40 years experience in well testing, gas & oil production/processing, design build and maintenance of pressure containing equipment and its certification combined with my continuing passion for engineering and innovation that is offered here.

In the latter years of my career I realized that the policy of some companies to “buy-in” rather than develop their own specific engineering needs resulted in unnecessary over-complication of relatively simple tasks

Now with the time afforded me in early semi-retirement I am able crystallize the theory, experience and practicality to produce through TRIANGLIA, unique services unavailable elsewhere, enabling companies to still “buy-in” but to a service more tailored to their needs.
